We are The Soul Connection – a 10-piece classic soul band based in the Midlands, brought together by a shared love of the timeless sounds of the 1960s. We love nothing more than bringing soul to the masses, and for one very special night we're using the power of music to support one of our own.

RaRa is a Cheltenham-raised artist who has dreamed of becoming a pop star since the age of four. Inspired by legends including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera, she blends powerful vocals, soulful gospel influences and heartfelt storytelling drawn from her own experiences. With music featured on BBC 1, London Live, GB News and TalkTV, and performances alongside artists including Beverley Knight and Gary Barlow, RaRa is now preparing to release her debut album, including music recorded at the legendary Royal Studios in Memphis with Grammy-winning producer Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell. She is delighted to be part of this special evening and looks forward to performing in support of Charlotte
In June 2025, our friend Charlotte was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC), a rare cancer. What initially seemed like conjunctivitis led to a diagnosis of Horner's syndrome before further investigations revealed the underlying cause.
Charlotte has faced every stage of her treatment with incredible courage and positivity, while continuing to be an amazing wife to Tom, mum to her young daughter, Maisie, daughter, friend and inspiration to so many around her. As she comes to the end of her current treatment, her next treatment options include specialist treatment, clinical trials and treatment overseas.
Net proceeds from this event will go directly towards helping Charlotte access specialist treatment overseas, opening the door to new treatment opportunities.
