Join us for an exclusive event celebrating 60 years of the Cotswolds National Landscape!
Join us at midday, when we throw open the doors of the Parabola Arts Centre and welcome guests in to enjoy an exhibition, conversation, and a communal mark-making project – all celebrating 60 years of the Cotswolds National Landscape.
Delicious canapes and cake, made with fresh, locally sourced, regeneratively produced ingredients will be served on arrival. We’ll then be showing the new documentary film, Cotswolds Field & Folk which has been touring the Cotswolds all summer to great acclaim. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with people featured in Field & Folk alongside team members from CNL, hosted by broadcaster Jo Durrant. Questions from the audience will be welcomed and encouraged!

Ticket prices
Please note that ticket prices have been kept as low as possible to offer everyone the opportunity to celebrate. There is a small booking fee included in the price.
Main stalls are priced at £7.50 inc platform fee
Side stall tickets have a restricted view of the film screen, and so are priced slightly lower at £4.50 inc platform fee.
Wheelchair users will receive a free carer ticket.

I’ve been given a complimentary ticket – where can I sit in the theatre?
Please follow instructions from our venue team on the day.
Is there air conditioning?
No, the building does not have air conditioning. Fans will be placed in the galleries by the venue team if needed. The theatre usually remains a comfortable temperature, but if you are concerned, please feel welcome to bring a small handheld fan. Water will be available at the bar.
How do I get there?
Cheltenham is accessible by rail and bus - and we encourage travel by public transport.Cheltenham Spa railway station is a 25 minute (approx) walk / 10 min bus or taxi ride away. Cheltenham bus station is in the town centre and is a 10 minute (approx) walk from Parabola Arts Centre.
Where can I park?
Parabola Arts Centre is surrounded by pay-at-machine on-road parking. The nearest car park is St Georges Road car park. For all parking options, please visit Cheltenham Borough Council's website: https://www.cheltenham.gov.uk/parking
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. There is an accessible side entrance, and an internal lift. The stalls area of the auditorium accommodates up to four wheelchair users and their companions.
Will there be food and drink?
A celebratory glass of bubbles, along with canapes and cake will be served to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a bottle bar open during the event.

Are dogs allowed at the event?
No. Dogs are not permitted at this event, except working assistance dogs.
